  1.准备本课的录音磁带,教学挂图和幻灯片。
  2.准备巧克力和果冻的实物或图片。
  3.自制不同种类和形状的蛋糕图片。
  4.准备用纸剪出的.心形、星形等。
  五.Teaching Steps:
  1. Warming-up/ Revision (2′)
  Teacher展示图片,使用单词的图片进行复习,用看图片抢答的形式。
  2. Presentation (14′)
  1)T showthe shape cards, ask: What's this? Can you say it in Chinese?
  Ss:正方形。圆形。长方形。五角星。……
  After Ss answer, T asks: Can you say it inEnglish?
  S1: Sorry, I don’t know.
  2)Reading.
  Paste these cards and words on blackboard. Ask Ssto follow.
  3)Lookand say: Lisa is going to have a birthday party.Her aunt and uncle are going shopping with her.They want to buy a birthday cake for Lisa.Do you know what kind of cake Lisa likes?
  4)Listenand answer.
  Ss: Lisa chooses a star-shaped cake or a heart-shaped cake.
  T: Yes, clever boy. (OR: Clever girl.)
  5)Theyalso get some other things.Whatare they? Can you tell me?
  Ss: ...........
  T: Good job!
  T: Lisa 是否还买了别的东西。
  让学生再听一边录音,特别是I'llget some jelly for you.这一句。
  T: They also get some jelly.What is jelly? Do you know? 接着展示jelly的教学卡片,让学生理解这个词的意思。

  3. Practice(10′)
  1)Justspeak
  Ask Ss to engage in dialogue performancesCompetition. (优胜组奖励贴纸)
  2)Dialogues.
  Ask Ss to take out home-made cake pictures, markedwith a price tag, simulated cake shop’s scene, shopping activities.
  4. Assessment(12′)
  Finish the activity book about the lesson.
  5. Additionalactivities/Homework (2′)
  1)把数学课上学过的各种形状统计一下,然后把它们全部用英语表达出来,可以通过各种途径获取帮助。
  2)Do asurvey:组织学生以小组为单位开展Whatkind of cake would you like? What shape would you like? 的调查,填写调查表:
